Positibo sa COVID-19 ang presidente ng Argentina na si Alberto Fernandez, ayon sa kanyang social media post. Pahayag ni Pres. Fernandez sa kanyang tweet noong Biyernes, “I wanted to tell you that at the end of today, after presenting a fever record of 37.3 and a slight headache, I performed an antigen test, which was positive.”
Ayon kay Fernandez, sumailalim din siya sa PCR test at habang hinihintay ang resulta ay nag-isolate na siya at nanawagan din ang pangulo sa kanyang mga nakasalamuha.
Aniya, "Although we are awaiting confirmation through the PCR test, I am already isolated, complying with the current protocol and following the instructions of my personal doctor.”
Nilinaw naman ng pangulo na maayos ang kanyang kondisyon. Saad pa ni Fernandez na nagdiwang ng 62nd birthday noong Biyernes, “For everyone's information I am physically well and, although I would have liked to end my birthday without this news, I am also in good spirits. I am grateful from my soul for the many expressions of affection that you have given me today, remembering my birth.”
