Pinas, opisyal nang ESports capital, PKO apps, palalakasin pa ang ESWF

Opisyal nang sentro ng Electronic and Digital Sports (ESports) sa mundo ang Pilipinas at iyan ang ibinidang magandang balita ni Arniel Gutierrez nang maitatag ang ESports World Federation (ESWF) – ang kinikilalang amateur governing ESports body sa mundo – na nakabase sa Pilipinas.

“The Philippines is now the Mecca of ESports. Officially, tayo na ang Esports capital in the world,” pahayag ni Gutierrez sa Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports, Inc. (TOPS ) ‘Usapang Sports’ kahapon sa Behrouz Restaurant sa Timog, Quezon City. “Kung yung International Olympic Committee (IOC) ang governing body sa lahat ng traditional sports at organizers ng SEAG, Asian Games at Olympics, ang ESWF ang sentrong sports body para sa ESports.

"After years of planning and study and support of all Esports International Federation, particularly the China-based General Association of Asia Pacific Sports Federations (GAAPSF) whose president is now the vice president of IOC, naisakatuparan natin ang matagal ko nang pangarap,” sambit ni Gutierrez sa lingguhang sports forum na itinataguyod ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) at Pagcor.

Sa tulong ng Department of Tourism (DOT) kung saan bahagi rin si Gutierrez ng Sports Tourism Group, opisyal na ilulunsad ang ESWF sa Tourism Sports ESports Business sa Nob. 25-28 sa SMX Clark sa Pampanga. “Ito bale ang kickoff program ng ESWF, magsasagawa tayo ng conference and seminars. May exhibits dahil part ito ng digitalization project ng DOT. Para higit na mapabilis ang pagpapalaganap ng Esports, nakipagtambalan si Gutierrez sa Pinoy Ako (PKO) digital apps na ilulunsad sa Oktubre 16. “Right now nasa testing na tayo, but before the grand launching sa Oktober puwede n rin ninyong masilip ang PKO apps but September 16,” sambit ni PKo multi-digital content creator Neil Talavera.

Ayon kay Talavera, naglaan sila ng isang channel para sa Esports upang mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang lahat ng Esports enthusiasts na masubaybayan ang kanilang hilig maging sa local at international activities. “We all know that everyone of us spent more time in mobile phone than watching television. With this PKO apps, anytime and anywhere puwede mong subaybayan yung lahat ng gusto mo dahil hindi lang naman ESports ang nakapaloob din but all sports, may movies din at show,” sambit ni Talavera.
