Personal na iniabot ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Atty. George Erwin Garcia kay Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner ang tseke na nagkakahalaga ng P40 milyon mula sa pondo ng komisyon para gamitin ng sandatahang lakas sa operasyon sa panahon ng Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) sa Oktubre 30, 2023. Kasamang sumaksi sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) si Defense Secretary Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro at dalawa pang Comelec officials
