Sa ilalim ng Republic Act (R.A.) No. 10398 na pinamagatang “An Act Declaring November Twenty-Five Of Every Year As “National Consciousness Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women And Children,” kinikilala ng Estado ang pangangailangang bumuo ng isang komprehensibo at organisadong kampanya para sa kamalayan ng bayan hinggil sa paglaban sa karahasan laban sa kababaihan at mga bata. Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children.”
