Sinabi ni Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Jonvic Remulla na isa umanong organized attack at hindi tunay na pagprotesta ang nangyaring riot sa Mendiola kasabay ng kilos-protesta laban sa korupsiyon nitong Linggo, Setyembre 21.
