Proud na proud sa GF na Hollywood star na… ENRIQUE: HANGGANG MAMATAY, NAKA-SUPPORT AKO KAY LIZA

Bumilib kami kay Enrique Gil dahil kahit wala rito sa Pilipinas si Liza Soberano, dumalo siyang mag-isa sa media and celebrity screening ng Hollywood debut film ng aktres na Lisa Frankenstein held last Tuesday (Feb. 6) sa SM Aura, Taguig.

Of course, ang pagdalo ni Quen ay bilang suporta sa kanyang girlfriend at sa first-ever Hollywood film nito.

“I feel so excited, I mean I’m super-super happy for Liza, and you know this has always been her dream and for her to be living her dreams, it just means the world to me. Super happy,” sey ni Quen nang makapanayam namin bago nagsimula ang screening.

Nakita raw niya ang mga photos and coverage ng lahat ng red-carpet events ng Lisa Frankenstein sa Hollywood at talagang napakasaya raw niya for Liza.

“I’m so happy, I just can’t believe it, you know. We were just there in New Orleans shooting for her film and just to be here now for a premiere night, it just doesn’t feel real, you know,” aniya.

Para sa aktor, talaga raw kahit ano ang mangyari ay susuportahan niya ang GF anuman ang gusto nitong gawin at mananatili siyang supporter nito hanggang sa mamatay siya.

“I’ve always been a supporter ever since day 1. So, sabi ko talaga, '‘Till I die, I will always, always support Hopie (Liza’s nickname),'” he said.

Umaasa rin si Quen na ito na raw sana ang simula ng tagumpay ng Hollywood career ni Liza.

“I hope so, you know, this is her dream, so whatever she wants to do in her life and if this is her dream, I’m all for it,” aniya.

Susunod ba siya kay Liza sa Hollywood?

“I don’t know, I don’t know, I’m always open to. . . you know, to anything, so if the opportunity is there, of course, of course,” aniya.

Nabanggit nga rin ni Quen na sa Feb. 13 daw babalik sa bansa si Liza. Kasalukuyan kasing nasa US ang aktres para rin sa promo ng movie.

“She said she was going to come back on the 13th. I think, she has work on that day, so sabi ko, ‘You have to come by in my premiere night.’ So, sabi niya, after her work, she’ll go straight to the premiere night, so hopefully, she can make it,” ani Quen.

Magkasama ba sila sa Valentine’s Day?

“Hopefully, kasi sabi niya, she has to go back right away to LA, kasi may work po siya ru’n,” sagot ng aktor.

So, Feb. 13 na lang ang kanilang Valentine date?

“In a way, yeah, yeah. So hopefully, she can stay a little bit longer but she said she has to go back to LA,” he said.

Samantala, sa nasabing horror-comedy film ay ginagampanan ni Liza ang papel na Taffy, stepsister ng character naman ng bidang si Kathryn Newton.

After watching the film, hindi na kami nagtaka kung bakit ang daming positive reviews sa role at sa acting ni Liza.

For a Hollywood debut, masasabi naming napakasuwerte ni Liza para pagkatiwalaan siya ng ganito kalaking role. She’s the second lead actually at halos equal ang role nila ni Kathryn Newton. 

Honestly, nalito nga kami kung sino ba talaga sa kanilang dalawa ang bida dahil sa ganda ng exposure ni Hope. And she really did play her part so well.

Mula sa Focus Features and Universal Pictures International, nagsimula nang ipalabas sa mga sinehan nationwide ang Lisa Frankenstein kahapon, Feb. 7. 

Also in the cast are Hollywood actors Cole Sprouse, Joe Chrest, Henry Eikenberry and Carla Gugino, directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody.
