PNP, ready na vs. Bagyong Rolly

Inihanda na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ngayong Linggo ang Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF) para sa agarang pagresponde sa posibleng sakuna na dala ng bagyong Rolly.

Ayon kay PNP Chief General Camilo Cascolan, nasa full alert na umano ang lahat ng kapulisan at kasalukuyang inihahanda ang evacuation center na tutuluyan ng mga pamilyang lubos na naapektuhan.

Aniya, "We are in coordination with LGUs for preemptive evacuations. We are currently conducting preventive evacuation of all people residing near coastal areas."

Bukod pa rito, naghahanda na rin ang PNP ng mga food packs para sa relief operation sa mga lugar na tinamaan ng bagyo. Inihanda na rin ang mga truck na gagamitin sa Libreng Sakay Program.

"We are calling on our people in affected areas to stay safe, alert and informed, and heed the orders of authorities particularly for preemptive evacuation that may be enforced. The PNP will be there where we are needed most, and together we will weather the storm," dagdag ni Cascolan.
