Dear Chief Acosta,

Mayroon bang obligasyon ang kolehiyo na magsumite ng report sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) tungkol sa kanilang operating expenses at scholarship expenditures kaugnay ng kanilang athletics program? – Anna


Dear Anna,

Para sa inyong kaalaman, nakasaad sa Republic Act No. 11180 o ang Athletics Programs Report Act ang sumusunod:


“Section 4. Disclosure of Athletic Program Participation Rate and Financial Support. - Each higher education institution (HEI) that participates in any athletic program recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and has an intercollegiate athletic program shall submit, on an annual basis, a report to the Chairperson of the CHED containing the following data on each program:

(c) The total operating expenses for the athletic program;


(d) The total scholarship expenditures vis-a-vis the total number of participants;


Samakatwid, ang kolehiyo na mayroong athletics program ay mayroong obligasyon na magsumite ng report sa CHED ng mga detalye na nakasaad sa bataas, kabilang ang kanilang operating expenses at scholarship expenditures.


Sana ay nabigyan namin ng linaw ang inyong katanungan. Ang payong aming ibinigay ay base lamang sa impormasyong inyong inilahad at maaaring magbago kung mababawasan o madaragdagan ang mga detalye ng inyong salaysay.
