Tiniyak ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. na may sapat na suplay ng mga produktong petrolyo ang bansa kahit lumampas pa sa 45 araw, dahil inaasahan ng pamahalaan ang pagdating ng mga fuel deliveries.
"And although we cannot be assured right now of the supply, we can be sure that at least for 45 days we will be all right. I think that we can be fairly confident–we can be confident that after the 45 days, we still have... [deliveries would have] already arrived here in the Philippines," pahayag ni Marcos.
"We will have already a flow of oil, not just one delivery, not just two deliveries but a flow of petroleum and petroleum-related products," saad ng Pangulo.
Pinasalamatan ni Marcos ang magandang relasyon na mayroon tayo sa ating mga partner na bansa sa buong mundo kaugnay sa pagtiyak ng sapat na suplay ng langis.
"And we have not only gone to the oil suppliers, the traditional oil suppliers, we have tried to explore other sources that are not affected by the war that is ongoing in the Middle East," diin ng Chief Executive.
"And right now, I'm very confident in saying that we have sufficient supply. We will continue to source those supplies.”
"And I do not think that there is a problem. Sa aming analysis, wala tayong problema para sa supply ng petrolyo at saka ng mga petroleum products,” hirit ng Pangulo.
Matatandaang, idineklara ni Marcos ang state of national energy emergency at iniutos ang pagpapatupad ng Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) para sa mga apektadong sektor.
