Ayon kay Julia, "Bakit naman hindi? If I’ve already done something like Expensive Candy. But you know what, hindi nga siya daring, eh.

“You know, it’s really growing up and it’s being confident in your own skin and confident in your flaws and confident in the body you have and the person that you are.

“I’m grateful for projects like Expensive Candy that really pushes and inspires me to be confident in who I am and in my own skin. So these things that I do only help me become a more secure and a braver woman."

Kaya timing na timing ang pagkuha sa kanya ng Tanduay Rhum as their newest celebrity endorser.

Bonggacious ang ginanap na launching for Julia bilang 2024 Tanduay Calendar Girl held last November 15 in Quezon City.

Aminado si Julia na nagkaroon siya ng mixed feelings bago gawin ang sexy pictorial niya para sa 2024 calendar ng Tanduay.

“I’m very honored because this is the number one rhum and to be the face of it, malaki siyang karangalan para sa akin and I hope that I did them proud.

“I hope that the team and my new family is proud and happy about the calendar. Sana, maraming maging masaya at matuwa sa aking ginawa a few months ago pa. Ilang buwan din naming hinintay itong launch na ito. We were so excited to show everyone what we did a couple of months ago.

“It was something I was nervous about but at the same time, I was very excited because number one, it was an honor to be chosen to represent the brand for 2024.

“And of course, I’m excited about that but at the same time, nervous because it means having to be a lot more braver in expressing myself. But more than anything else, I’m very grateful.

Isa siyang malaking bagay na napili ako na gawin ito,” pahayag ni Julia.

Pinasalamatan ni Julia ang Tanduay for accepting her at pag-aalaga sa kanya during the photo shoot.

“Yes, especially during this process and for really hearing me out and for being so collaborative about. I hope that I continue to make you guys proud for the rest of the year," say niya.

Hindi lang basta endorser siya ng inuming nakakalasing, proud din siya na naki-collaborate siya with the brand for the concept of the product.

“Isa sa mga bagay na thankful ako sa Tanduay and the creative team was that it was a very collaborative process. My input was important to them and my team's creative input as well.

Pero siyempre, sa mga ganitong klaseng photo shoot, importante rin na very much involved iyong team mo.

“The team is also dapat 'yung tina-trust mo sa ganitong klaseng mga creative shoots. But more than anything, I'm really grateful kasi they really valued our thoughts and opinions. Ang dali ng proseso with Tanduay so ru'n ako pinaka-grateful, na in-involve nila ako sa process,” lahad niya.

Wala na ring paki si Julia kung nag-iba na ang paningin sa kanya ng madlang-pipol mula sa imaheng girl-next-door image to being one of the country’s most beautiful sex symbols.

“I’m flattered, I guess,” ngit niya.

“I don’t think it bothers me so much. I think as you grow older, you just end up being more confident in who you are and in your own skin.

“And if that translates into being able to inspire people to be brave and to be confident and to come out of their shells, I guess I’ll take it. It’s a compliment at the end of the day."
