Niregaluhan si Robbie Jaworski ng Holy Bible ng girlfriend niya na baon niya sa loob ng Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house. Isa ang anak ni Mikee Cojuangco sa mga bagong housemates sa Bahay ni Kuya.

Agad namang nahulaan ng mga netizens kung sino ang tinutukoy niyang GF.

“Si Magui Ford (sister nina Lella at DJ) ang GF ni Robbie.”

“Yes, girlfriend n’ya si Magui, sister of Daniel and Lella.”

Galing sa mga prominenteng pamilya sa pulitika at pagnenegosyo si Robbie. Lolo at lola niya sina Peping Cojuangco at Margarita ‘Tingting’ Cojuangco sa side ng mom niya na si Mikee.

Sa side naman ng daddy niyang si Dodot Jaworski, na vice-mayor ngayon ng Pasig, ang grandparents ni Robbie ay sina Evelyn Bautista, panganay na anak ng yumaong aktor at senador na si Ramon Revilla, Sr. at ang basketball legend na si Robert Jaworski, na naging senador din noong araw.

“And my whole life, I have not experienced any hardship. Hanggang ngayon, 26 na po ako, my grandparents are still alive. My parents are in a loving relationship. I have two wonderful younger brothers. I have great friends. Got to play sports in high school. I’m in a wonderful relationship. So, kung tutuusin, ‘di ba, my life somehow is almost perfect?” lahad ni Robbie.

Sa kabila nito, nagtaka si Robbie nang makaramdam siya ng matinding takot sa sarili noong 14 years old siya, sa unang araw ng klase niya sa Grade 8.

Pagsisiwalat ni Robbie, “I locked myself in the bathroom for three days na wala akong magawa kundi ang umiyak. At takot na takot ako dahil ‘di ko maintindihan kung bakit ako umiiyak.”

Sinabi raw niya ito sa parents niya kaya ipinatingin siya sa doktor. Pinayuhan si Robbie na uminom ng anti-anxiety, antidepressant at antipsychotic medications. Pero lahat daw ay hindi tumalab sa kanya.

“But one thing worked. Inuulit-ulit ko lang ang Our Father, over and over. And that got to protect me, strong and safe,” sabi pa ni Robbie.

Nag-react ang mga netizens sa pagsisiwalat ni Robbie ng kanyang mga karanasan.

Sey ng isa, “Marami s’yang baggage na dala-dala kaya s’ya pumasok sa loob ng PBB para makita n’ya kung ano pa ang kaya n’yang gawin o mabago sa meron s’ya.”

‘Di umubra tulad kay Sharon…

RAYMOND, IBINULGAR NA NAI-DATE SI REGINE, ‘DI NA NASUNDAN

IBINULGAR ng singer na si Raymond Lauchengco ang naging ugnayan niya noon kay Regine Velasquez. There was a time pala na nai-date niya ang Asia’s Songbird, kasama ang yumaong ama ng singer na si Mang Gerry.

Naikuwento ito ni Raymond sa mediacon para sa nalalapit niyang concert titled We Built This City: A Celebration of Generation X, na magaganap sa Samsung Performing Arts Theater sa Circuit Makati sa November 21.

“I asked her to have dinner with me,” panimula ni Raymond. 

Kuwento niya, “Mang Gerry (Velasquez) was with us. So we had a nice meal and we watched Evita (Perón). And then, we said goodbye to each other (after we watched), and the last thing Mang Gerry said to me was, ‘Okay, Anak. Next time, ako naman ang manlilibre.’”

For the second time, na-friendzone ulit si Raymond kay Regine. Ang unang pagkakataon na na-friendzone siya ay kay Sharon Cuneta. Si Mega kasi ang kanyang first crush. Pero nang magkasama na sila sa showbiz, younger brother ang ibinigay na treatment nito sa kanya.

Paliwanag ni Raymond, “I fell in love with her (Regine) voice. Uh, it was fine with me that, you know, she went out with me one time. And now I’m blushing and I am really embarrassed about this because I will be seeing her on November 21.”

Isa kasi si Regine sa mga special guests ni Raymond sa kanyang one-night only concert. Pero promise niya, masaya ito dahil mix ng ‘80s anthems, Top 40 favorites, Broadway numbers, and Raymond’s own enduring hits.

Special guests din sa concert ni Raymond sina Gary Valenciano, Mitch Valdes at ang mister ni Regine na si Ogie Alcasid. Ang theater actress at kapatid niya na si Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo ang direktor ng concert.

“These are the cream of the crop! The ultimate. But even in last year’s concert naman, we had Martin (Nievera) and Sharon (Cuneta). But this year, nadagdagan pa. You know what these artists represent. These are the heavyweights. Just to be able to share the stage with them is such an honor. So the challenge now is how do you maximize their participation? We’re really collaborating now on how to make the most of their participation. Imagine, I’m going to sing with Gary V., and then I’m going to sing with the queen Regine, and then I’m going to sing with the chief of OPM Ogie. I’m going to banter with Mitch Valdez. That’s the funnest part for us now, how to maximize these incredible guests,” proud na sabi ni Raymond.

Dream concert daw ito ni Raymond.

Paliwanag niya, “I want people to come with their friends, hear the songs they love, and have a fantastic time. We’ve spent so much of our lives being responsible adults. For one night, we can just enjoy ourselves. The city kasi, in my mind, is a metaphor for Gen X. Okay, so Gen X, we are celebrating through memories, all of the memories of Gen X.

“So you have to look at it this way. I think, Gen X in particular, they did really well. Think about it. We raised families. We built careers. We built friendships that have lasted the best of time. We drank water straight from the garden hose. We rode our bicycles until it got dark. We had Brooke Shields, we had Phoebe Cates, the girls had Menudo, and Rob Lowe. There were no cellphones. Wala tayong Google Maps.

“We had one superpower. You want to know what superpower it was for Gen X? We learned to rely on ourselves early. We knew where everybody was without having to text. That’s what I want to celebrate through our memories.”
