Iran foreign minister, itinangging may planong patayin si Trump

Itinanggi ni Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister ng Iran, ang mga akusasyon mula sa United States (US) na may kinalaman ang Tehran sa isang sinasabing plano upang patayin si Donald Trump.


Sa isang pahayag sa kamakailan, nanawagan si Araqchi para sa pagpapalakas ng tiwala at mga hakbang na magpapabuti sa relasyon ng dalawang bansang magkaaway.


"Now ... a new scenario is fabricated ... as a killer does not exist in reality, scriptwriters are brought in to manufacture a third-rate comedy," saad ni Araqchi sa social media platform na X.


Tinutukoy niya ang sinasabing plano na ayon sa Washington ay iniutos ng elite Revolutionary Guards ng Iran upang patayin si Trump, na nanalo sa halalan nu'ng Martes at papasok sa kanyang posisyon sa Enero.


"The American people have made their decision. And Iran respects their right to elect the President of their choice. The path forward is also a choice. It begins with respect. [...] Iran is NOT after nuclear weapons, period. This is a policy based on Islamic teachings and our security calculations. Confidence-building is needed from both sides. It is not a one-way street," saad pa nito.


Magugunitang sinabi ng Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson na si Esmaeil Baghaei na ang mga paratang ay isang "repulsive" na plano ng Israel at ng oposisyon ng Iran sa labas ng bansa upang pag-isahin ang mga usapin sa pagitan ng Amerika at Iran.
