“On March 15, a death was reported in an individual who had received the COVID-19 vaccine and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19,” batay sa inilabas na statement ng DOH at FDA. Ayon sa DOH at FDA, ang national at regional committees, na siyang naatasang mag-monitor ng mga adverse effects following immunization ay nagsabing “concluded that the cause of the death was COVID-19 itself, not by the COVID-19 vaccine.”

“Millions of people around the world have received this vaccine, and evidence continues to show that the benefit of vaccination outweighs the risk of severe disease and death caused by COVID-19,” sabi pa ng dalawang ahensiya, kung saan may kabuuang 240,297 indibidwal na ang naturukan ng unang dose ng COVID-19 vaccine.
