Habang inooperahan… KRIS, TUMIGIL SA PAGHINGA

Natuloy na rin ang operasyon ni Kris Aquino kahapon. Ibinahagi ni Kris ang latest medical procedure na pinagdaanan niya.

Ipinost ng aktres-TV host sa Instagram (IG) ang isang larawan niya habang nakahiga sa loob ng medical room ng ospital, kalakip ang ilang detalye ng naganap na operasyon.

Caption ni Kris, “This is for me a short post. Thank you for continuing to pray for me to get better, for having faith that God will make all things possible. I haven’t fully processed what happened. It was supposed to be a minor PICC line procedure, but there was a span of time totaling almost two minutes when my lung stopped functioning—I stopped breathing.

“I credit my anesthesiologist, my two surgeons, and as soon as I awakened, the reassuring face of my rheumatologist whose concern and love I felt.

“In my post-op recovery room, it was future pediatrician, neurologist, or anesthesiologist Bimb’s kiss that made me realize we owe all of you my life. Utang namin na buhay pa rin ako. The Holy Spirit guided my doctors and everyone in the OR. As the song lyrics say: ‘And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me… Shinin’ until tomorrow, let it be… I wake up to the sound of music, Mother Mary comes to me speaking words of wisdom, let it be…’”

Supposedly, Monday ang nakatakdang operasyon ni Kris, pero tumaas ang kanyang blood pressure dahil sa pag-atake ng kanyang migraine.

Paliwanag ni Kris sa kanyang Instagram post last Tuesday, “This surgery was delayed from yesterday to very soon because my BP was sky high the whole of Sunday—the culprit, my migraine.

“Thank you to my pain management doctor Henry Lu and his entire team for finding the right formula, although Sunday night and yesterday I was given a pharmacy.”

Ikinuwento rin ni Kris sa caption ang namalas niyang concern ni Bimby para sa kanyang kuya na si Josh.

“Entering the pre-OP area. Kuya was shaking and automatically grabbed Bimb’s hand. I did something right in making sure Bimb grew up knowing he’ll be responsible for his Kuya. And Kuya feels secure with Bimb. Going in. #family,” tsika pa ni Kris.

Mister na doktor pa mismo ang taga-inject…

CARLA, GUSTONG MAGKAANAK, NAGPAPA-FREEZE NG EGG

VERY open si Carla Abellana sa pagpapa-freeze ng kanyang egg sa usapan nila ni Boy Abunda sa programa ni King of Talk sa GMA-7, ang Fast Talk with Boy Abunda (FTWBA).

Pahayag ni Carla, “Of course, pangarap ko pa rin po na magkaroon ng sarili kong anak. Of course, we want to have our own family.”

Tinanong ni Kuya Boy si Carla kung ano ang sabi ng bago niyang mister na si Dr. Reginald Santos.

Sagot ni Carla, “Ay, ano naman po, supportive s’ya. In fact, he was there. He was there to support me. Kulang na lang po, pati sa OR, nandu’n din po s’ya bilang doktor din naman po s’ya. Allowed naman po s’ya. But he was actually there for me po, supporting me.

“At times, even with the injections, he did the actual injections on me. At one point, he gave me my daily injection. He was there. He was present whenever he could be present. Supportive naman po s’ya.”

For the first time, idinetalye ni Carla ang simula ng kanilang relasyon hanggang sa araw ng kanilang kasal.

It turned out na si Dr. Reginald pala talaga ang first love ni Carla. First year high school pa lang si Carla ay naging girlfriend na siya ni Dr. Reginald, who by that time ay nasa senior year.

It was also revealed na si Dr. Reginald pala ang nakipag-break kay Carla para i-pursue ang pag-aaral niya ng Medicine. Kailangan daw mag-focus ni Dr. Reginald sa kanyang pag-aaral sa kolehiyo, and in order to do that, isinakripisyo niya ang relasyon kay Carla.

Maayos naman daw nila itong napag-usapan, pero inamin ni Carla na nasaktan siya.

“A heartbreak is still a heartbreak, Tito Boy,” sabi ni Carla Abellana sa host.

Muli raw silang nagrekonek nu’ng makatanggap siya ng Christmas greeting from Dr. Reginald Santos noong 2023.
