“You know, I still believe that Filipinos are fairly peaceful people,” tugon ni Rhian.

Paliwanag niya, “Kasi, sa lahat ng mga race, I feel like kung may taong may karapatan magalit for all of these years and for so many reasons, tayo ang may karapatan at tayo ang may dahilan.”

Dagdag pa ng girlfriend ni Sam Verzosa, “And yet, alam mo ‘yun, we could have had riots every year, ‘di ba? Every year naman tayong binabaha, nakakagalit na talaga.

“But I believe we’re still a very peaceful people. And hopefully we can get through this without anyone getting physically hurt.”

I’m sorry, I don’t want people to feel like I’m making a joke out of it, but I am making a joke!

“Yes, I know that these are very serious topics na we’re facing right now. But at the same time, alam mo ‘yun, we also have meme culture.”

Dagdag pa niya, “So please excuse my joke, I just find comedy to be very healing. I think that’s why, ‘di ba, lahat ng nangyayari sa news, may memes na kaagad. Kasi that’s how we heal as people.”

“After one year of doing sessions, here came the concert last year. So, I asked Ms. Marian if she is okay that Zia is included at the concert,” kuwento ng mang-aawit.

“But Marian is so, so nice, and she asked Zia what she wanted and she never told her what to do.

“And when I heard Zia’s voice, sabi ko kay Marian, ‘Your daughter will really go places.’

“So, last year, I gave her a solo part which I think became viral because it was everywhere. And you know, it inspired so many kids and parents as well. She’s a very hardworking student.”

Kakantahin nila ang Let Love Be The Gift (LLBTG) na composed by Jose Mari Chan at kasama sa kanyang Going Home to Christmas 2012 album.
