CHARO, MMFF BEST ACTRESS PARA SA MOVIE NILA NI DANIEL

Hindi nakadalo si Charo Santos Concio sa 47th Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night held last Monday night kaya naman sa kanyang Instagram na lang siya nagpahatid ng kanyang pasasalamat for bagging the Best Actress trophy para sa pelikulang Kun Maupay Man It Panahon.

“This is a very pleasant surprise in a challenging year where I have been in a roller coaster of emotions.

“I am sorry that I am unable to personally receive the award due to some personal matters that I have to attend to. Marami pong salamat sa bumubuo ng MMFF for this honor,” pahayag ni Charo.

She also shared the award with her producer, Atty. Joji Alonso and director, Carlo Manatad at binati ang kanyang mga co-stars na sina Daniel Padilla for the Special Jury Prize and Rans Rifol for winning the Best Supporting Actress award.

“Of course to my dear co-stars, @supremo_dp and @_ransrifol. Congratulations for the Special Jury Prize and Best Supporting Actress Awards!! I am extremely proud of the both of you! This wouldn’t be possible if not for the teamwork, dedication and excellence of the entire team,” ani Charo.

Sa huli ay inialay niya ang tropeo sa kanyang asawa, gayundin sa mga Taclobeños.

“I’d like to dedicate this award to the one man who truly made it possible for me to fly---my dearest husband Cesar. Additionally, I want to thank my family for their love, understanding, and support.

“I would also like to dedicate this to all Taclobeños. I had the privilege to share your story around the world in my own little way. Sana rin po ay maging inspirasyon ito sa ating mga kababayan na naapektuhan ng bagyong “Odette”.

“May I also take this opportunity in encouraging everyone to help our kapamilyas in need.

“Tulong-tulong po tayo sa Pag-Ahon”.
