Itinuturing ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) bilang “armed and dangerous” si Senador Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

Ito ang inihayag ni NBI Chief Melvin Matibag sa gitna pa rin ng patuloy na paghahanap ng ahensya kay Dela Rosa upang isilbi ang arrest warrant na inilabas ng International Criminal Court (ICC).

“It’s our standard protocol that if we’re doing an operation or locating a fugitive from justice, our presumption is that they’re already armed and dangerous,” tugon ni Matibag nang tanungin kung itinuturing na ng ahensya si Dela Rosa na “armed and dangerous” sa isinagawang news forum.

Nabatid na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin matukoy ang kinaroroonan ng senador ngunit nananatili pa rin aniya sa bansa.

Noong Mayo 11 nang kumpirmahin ng ICC ang arrest warrant kay Dela Rosa para sa kasong crimes against humanity kaugnay ng war on drugs.

“The International Criminal Court confirms that the document published by national authorities of the Republic of the Philippines and circulated in media is indeed a formal ICC document,” saad ng tribunal.

“This arrest warrant against Mr Ronald Marapon Dela Rosa was issued confidentially, under seal, by Pre-Trial Chamber I of the ICC on 6 November 2025,” dagdag pa nito.

Matatandaang kamakailan, sinabi ni Department of Justice (DOJ) Sec. Fredderick Vida, na maituturing na “fugitive” o takas sa batas si Dela Rosa.
