Bago pa ang kasal… CARLA, PROUD NA FIANCÉE, DADDY NA ANG TAWAG KAY TOM

Mukhang si Carla Abellana pa ang mas excited sa bagong serye ng kanyang fiancé na si Tom Rodriguez kasama si Alden Richards, ang The World Between Us.

Sa ginanap na GMA Pinoy TV’s FunCon recently, sinorpresa ni Carla si Tom sa pamamagitan ng isang video message at binabati ang future hubby sa bago nitong teleserye with Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis.

"Hi, Daddy! Congratulations for being part of The World Between Us. This is it!" simula ng mensahe ni Carla kay Tom.

"I know how eager you have been to get back to work, to be part of such an amazing production team, inggit ako sa 'yo, to have great co-actors, and to portray yet another challenging role.

"Although this role is not the usual role that you would portray, I can already see, as early as now, how you strongly identify as Brian Libradilla.

"I know how hard you work, I know the heart in all the thought that you put into playing a certain character.

"And the good thing is that I know that you are enjoying so far.

"So let's claim that it's going to be a successful show. Let's claim that you will have high ratings, and more importantly, that everybody will stay healthy, and everybody will enjoy it,” patuloy ng aktres.

Apat na buwang hindi magkikita sina Tom at Carla dahil sa magkahiwalay nilang proyekto sa GMA-7.

Si Tom ay kasalukuyang nasa locked-in taping ng The World Between Us habang si Carla naman ay busy din sa kanyang teleseryeng To Have and To Hold with Rocco Nacino.

“Although we won't be seeing each other for four months, okay lang 'yan. It's all going to be worth it.

“I guess I would just like to say what you would always remind me to just take it one day at a time, to enjoy the moment, to savor everything, and to just work hard and do your best,” ang mensahe pa ni Carla kay Tom.

Sa huli ay nagbiro ang soon-to-be-bride na hinay-hinay sa pag-api kay Alden sa serye.

"Hinay-hinay lang sa pag-api kay Alden, napag-usapan na natin 'yan. Sabi ko sa 'yo, 'wag mong masyadong aapihin si Alden at lagot tayo sa mga fans niya. Hindi, joke lang.

“But just enjoy. Congratulations to the entire team of The World Between Us. God bless everybody. May you all have happy, harmonious set, and I'll see you very, very soon,” bilin ni Carla sa fiancé.

Masayang-masaya naman si Tom sa surprise video message sa kanya ni Carla pero ang mas ikina-happy niya ay ang nakalagay na “fiancee of Tom” sa ibaba ng pangalan ng aktres.

“Grabe, ang sarap-sarap palang mabasa 'yung 'fiancée ni Tom.' Ang sarap!” sambit ni Tom.

Ngayong Lunes, July 5 na ang pinakaaabangang world premiere ng The World Between Us sa GMA Telebabad at GMA Pinoy TV. Bukod kay Alden ay kasama rin dito ni Tom si Jasmine Curtis-Smith bilang leading lady ng Pambansang Bae, Dina Bonnevie, Jaclyn Jose, Sid Lucero at marami pang iba.
