Ayaw magbalik-showbiz… JESSY, GUSTUNG-GUSTO NANG MABUNTIS

Missed na ni Jessy Mendiola ang pag-arte sa harap ng kamera. Nami-miss na rin niya ang pumunta sa set at mag-taping, pati na ang mga katrabaho niya.

“But you know, uhm, siguro hindi ko pa siya priority ngayon,” sambit ni Jessy.

Priority ni Jessy ang magka-baby sila ni Luis Manzano next year. Kung puwede nga rin daw, gusto niyang magkaroon ng kambal.

“Actually, iniisip ng lahat, pregnant ako, eh. But I'm not yet. I'll tell everyone. Don't worry about it. And siguro, sana may good script (pagbalik niya sa showbiz),” wish ni Jessy.

Sa ngayon, nag-uumpisa na si Jessy na magparamdam sa showbiz, tulad na lang ng pagpirma niya ng kontrata sa Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic bilang bagong endorser.

Nakausap namin ang CEO ng kilalang beauty skin care clinic sa contract signing ni Jessy and at the same time, may bonggang birthday celebration din si Miss Cathy that night na ginanap sa Manila House Private, Inc. sa BGC, Taguig City last Wednesday.

Pina-follow pala niya ang socmed accounts ni Jessy dahil she really likes the wifey of Luis.

“I mean, the beauty and also, 'yung elegance especially when I saw her wedding, it's so classy and it really represents my clinic. I'm also so kilig that she's now part of CV family,” pahayag ni Cathy.

Umabot na sa 69 celebrities ang endorsers ng Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic. At bukod kay Jessy, bagong endorsers din niya ang celeb couples na sina Elisse Joson at McCoy de Leon and Enzo Pineda at Michelle Vito.

Wala raw particular treatment or procedure ang CV beauty clinic na ie-endorse ni Jessy.

“Well, I think, kung ano 'yung concern ni Jessy, we will address 'coz I don't believe in giving every treatment that she doesn't need anyway. She has a natural beauty, 'di ba? So parang I want lang to address the concern, and 'yung maganda na, let's not touch it anymore. And kapag she's aging then, that's the time we can think about enhancing, 'di ba? So, parang we aged gracefully, 'yun,” sabi pa niya.

Shinare rin ni Cathy ang kanyang beauty routine.

“Uh, I watch my diet. I seldom workout but I swim. I don' t eat red meat. So, no pork, no beef, ganu'n. Sometimes, chicken and fish but vegetables and fruits talaga, lifestyle lang, kasi it's really how you take care of yourself, eh. Dapat 'yung lifestyle and not just what you put, ‘di ba?” ani Cathy.

Tiningnang mabuti ni Cathy si Jessy when asked kung ano ang pinakanagustuhan niya sa beauty ng misis ni Luis.

“Everything,” sambit niya. “Yeah. The total package. She's very sweet. And I think the most important is the attitude of the person. This is the first time I met Jessy and she's so pleasant.

“I mean, the first impression, pleasant, humble and you know, not snob 'coz some big stars are like primadonna. So, I feel she's very warmth and very nice.”

Kung meron daw iti-treat ang CB Advanced Skin Clinic kay Jessy, ito ay ang braso ni Mrs. Manzano.

“The arms daw but you know, I'm not really, yeah, siguro ano, konting ano lang, (kasi) as it is, she's beautiful. But you know, you always want to improve something, I will help Jessy when it comes to that.”

Na-curious kami kung paano naka-survive ang clinic ni Cathy during the pandemic dahil ang isa sa mga negosyong naapektuhan ay ang beauty skin care industry.

“During the first like two or three months ba? During the first lockdown, we survived through medicine. They buy online. Maybe thirty percent of the gross, they are still buying the products. So, 30 to 40 percent 'yan. So, nu'ng medyo nag-ease up na 'yung lockdown, nag-reach kami ng 30 percent. So, medyo talagang affected. Right now it' s going up, 60 to 70 percent. But it is still affected. People are still afraid.

“Yes, malaki ang nawala sa amin. Good thing they can't live without my products. Really, I'm not kidding.

“They sometimes message me in Instagram and they say their product is konti na lang daw.

Sabi ko, it's okay. Nothing will happen to your skin. They really maintain their skin with our products."

Ini-reveal ni Jessy na kahit napakaganda na niya ay may araw na feeling niya, hindi maganda ang kanyang kutis.

“Meron, promise. But 'yun nga, it basically boils down in taking care of yourself talaga. I still experience breakouts. It happens. It's normal. So, why would you feel bad when you have breakouts?

“I do, of course. Why not? Lalo na kapag "time" of the month, 'di ba, 'yung mga babae and especially, so, talagang kailangan na tanggapin mo nang buo. And there's Cathy Valencia to take care of your skin.”

Nabago ba ng pag-aasawa ang kanyang beauty regimen?

“Oh, my gosh, yes! Lots of taking care of yourself. Para sa akin, 'yun na nga lang 'yung maibibigay ko sa sarili ko, so why kailangan ko pang i-stop? All the more na dapat alagaan for others. For you to be able to take care of others, you must take care of yourself. So, naging mas maarte ako nu'ng nag-asawa ako. Talagang I take care of my hair, my skin.

“Kapag feeling ko, nagiging bloated na ako, 'Oh, bawas-bawas na sa meat. Bawas na sa salty food. I think it's really important kahit pa wala ka pang asawa, you should take care of yourself.”

How does it feel to be an inspiration to many married girls to look as fresh as she is?

“Hindi nanan nakaka-haggard ang marriage, 'noh! I mean, it depends. It’s all up to you talaga to maintain that glow. Kahit naman if things don't work out, basta ikaw, maganda ka, 'di ba?”

Anyway, dahil birthday nga that day ni Cathy ay inalam namin ang kanyang birthday wish.

“I think good health pa rin and love. That's my love over there,” sabay turo sa foreigner boyfriend niya na nakatayo sa kanyang harapan.

Taga-Argentina ang BF ni Cathy na si Joaquin Anaya na dating polo player. Almost two years na raw ang kanilang relasyon.

"Sabi niya, oh, bragging again, ha?” ngiti ni Cathy, “He doesn't want me to brag. But he is a professional polo player. But right now, he's handling my operations and the clinic. So, he's the Vice-President for Operations.”

Tanong pa namin kay Cathy, may plano ba silang mag-settle down?

“Maybe, yes. Yes,” sabay tawa niya nang ubod nang tamis.
