Sinisiguro ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang malinis at ligtas na eleksyon at inihanda ang 5,558 na pulis para sa paparating na Baranggay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.


Preparado ang mga ito na maging poll workers para sa mga mag-aatrasang guro bilang poll watchers.


Ayon kay PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, ilang guro sa Cotabato City at Abra ang umatras dahil sa takot sa nangyayaring karahasan.
