World no. 1 spot nakuha ni Karateka De Los Santos

I didn’t realize that time has flown by so fast, and now I’m the no. 1. But it doesn’t stop there. I have a much bigger goal now: to maintain the no. 1 spot throughout the year. I know there will be others out there that want it, so that will keep me working hard,” pahayag ni De Los Santos sa panayam ng Bulgar Sports sa online messages.

It’s been seven months since I started playing in virtual tournaments. When I became the no. 2 back in August 6, I saw that I was nearly 3000 points behind no. 1. I was discouraged at first, but my kata coach, Masa Saito, reminded me to have patience; take it one tournament at a time.

I would be around 345 or 405 points ahead. That was my goal, to become the number one E-Kata player in the World. I still can’t believe I was able to achieve it in a short amount of time,” saad ng International Shotokan Karate Federation member, na nag-aantay pa ng isa pang resulta kalaban si Moreno Domont ng Switzerland sa Golden League Karate E-Tournament, habang sinusulat ang balitang ito.
