The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma (TROPP).
Una, ang family picture nila ni Vic with their two daughters.
Caption ni Pauleen, “We give thanks to the Lord for this court decision.
“The results are in and the outcome is in our favor, confirming that the material released was malicious in nature. We won!
“This victory is for our children and family, and we humbly lift our gratitude to Almighty God.
“Let this be a reminder that our words and actions have great power, and that kindness and integrity should always guide us.
“Please, let us all be mindful and responsible about posting/sharing malicious content about people.
“We urge everyone to act with kindness, integrity, and respect, striving to uplift one another instead of causing harm.”
If this is true, we can’t blame her lalo na’t may balita ring na-bully daw ang kanilang panganay na si Tali sa school dahil sa teaser video.
“Muntinlupa RTC 205 partially grants TV host-actor Vic Sotto’s petition for writ of habeas data against The Rapists of #PepsiPaloma filmmaker Darryl Yap.
“The Court directed Yap, including the production team of VinCentiments, “to delete, take down and remove the 26-second teaser video’ from all platforms ‘for having misused the collected data/information by presenting a conversation between two deceased individuals, which cannot be verified as having actually occurred.’
“The respondent, however, is ALLOWED to proceed with the production and eventual release of the film.”
So, there.
Napiling punong-hurado ang award-winning Filipino director na si Brillante Mendoza para sa Cinema at Sea – Okinawa Pan-Pacific International Film Festival, which will take place from February 22 to March 2, 2025.
Ayon sa festival’s official Facebook (FB) page, mahigit 50 screenings and sessions ang naka-schedule, highlighting the cultural richness and creative talent of filmmakers from the Pacific region and beyond.
One of the standout films in the competitive Pacific Film section is Tale of the Land (TOTL), an Indonesian-Filipino-Taiwanese-Qatari co-production directed by Loeloe Hendra Komara.
The film tells the story of a Dayak girl in Borneo and has already garnered international acclaim, winning the Fipresci Award at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
The Cinema at Sea – Okinawa Pan-Pacific International Film Festival celebrates the diversity and artistry of Pacific cinema, serving as a platform for collaboration and cultural exchange.
