Hello, Bulgarians! Nilagdaan ng Social Security System (SSS) ang isang memorandum of agreement kasama ang Board of Investments (BOI) sa ilalim ng KaSSSangga Collect Program nito, na nagsusulong sa social security coverage ng Contract of Service (COS) at Job Order (JO) na manggagawa.
Ang kasunduan ay nagbibigay ng pahintulot sa BOI na magsilbi bilang isang Coverage at Collection Partner ng SSS, na mangongolekta at magpapadala ng buwanang Social Security (SS) at Employees’ Compensation (EC) na kontribusyon ng kanilang COS, JO at iba pang indibidwal na nagbabayad na miyembro-empleyado ng SSS sa pamamagitan ng salary deduction scheme.
Sa pamamagitan nito, ang kanilang mga COS at JO employee ay mauuri bilang mga self-employed member ng SSS at magiging kwalipikado para sa benepisyo at loan program sa patuloy na pagbabayad ng kanilang mga kontribusyon.
“I am delighted to know that I can continue paying my contribution through this program of SSS,” pahayag ni BOI Vice Chairman and Managing Head and Undersecretary of Industry Development and Trade Policy ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Dr. Ceferino S. Rodolfo.
Personal ding iendorso ni Rodolfo ang KaSSSangga Collect Program sa iba pang ahensya tulad ng National Development Company (NDC), DTI, Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) at Competitiveness and Innovation Group (CIG).
Samantala, binigyang-diin ni SSS NCR South Division Acting Vice President Cristine Grace B. Francisco ang mga pagsisikap ng SSS tungo sa pagkamit ng vision nito sa universal coverage na nagsasabing, “the SSS initiated various programs to reach last mile communities and gig economy and informal sector workers, including COS and JO workers of local government units and national government agencies.”
Dinaluhan din ang MOA signing nina SSS Makati-Gil Puyat’s Branch Head Hoechst R. Potato, Assistant Branch Head Shirley E. Navalta, Acting Assistant Head Jerome Arreola, Junior Analyst Marion Joyce Ragua; at ang Acting Director ng Financial Administrative Service (FAS) ng BOI na si Estela Jimenez, at Accounting Division Officer-in-Charge Anna Mascariñas.
