Hello, Bulgarians! Inihayag ng Social Security System (SSS) ang pagpapatuloy ng Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) Program o ang taunang pag-uulat sa SSS simula Oktubre 2021 hanggang Marso 31, 2022 sa iba`t ibang mga alternatibong paraan

“We want to remind our pensioners that it is important to comply with ACOP so they can continue to receive their monthly pensions. SSS implemented ACOP in 2012 to make sure that only the rightful beneficiaries will continue to enjoy the SSS benefit. Non-compliance with the yearly reporting will lead to the suspension of their monthly pensions,” paliwanag ni SSS President and Chief Aurora Ignacio.

Kung ang mga pensiyunado ay hindi sumunod sa ACOP sa iskedyul na nabanggit, pansamantalang masususpinde ang kanilang buwanang pensiyon, mula Mayo 2022. “However, if the pensioners have already complied with their yearly reporting for 2021, they are no longer required to re-submit their duly accomplished ACOP form and other required documents,” saad ni Ignacio.

Ang mga kinakailangang sumunod sa ilalim ng mga bagong alituntunin ay:

• retired pensioner na naninirahan abroad;

• total disability pensioners;

• survivor pensioners; and;

• dependent (minor/incapacitated) pensioners.

Dagdag pa ni Ignacio na tinitiyak ng ACOP na ibibigay lamang ng SSS ang mga benepisyo sa mga may karapatan sa ilalim ng SS Law. Ibinahagi niyang may mga kaso sa nakaraan kung saan ang ilang mga pensiyunado ay patuloy na tumatanggap ng buwanang pensiyon kahit sila ay pumanaw na. “ACOP protects pensioners or their beneficiaries as well as the SSS fund from these kinds of fraudulent claims,” patuloy niya.

Mula sa pagsisimula ng pandemya noong nakaraang taon hanggang Setyembre 30, 2021, pansamantalang sinuspinde ng SSS ang taunang pag-uulat ng mga pensiyunado sa SSS para sa makataong pagsasaalang-alang at panatilihing ligtas ang mga pensiyonado ng SSS mula sa COVID-19.

“In previous years, SSS requires its pensioners to report personally at the nearest SSS branch or depository bank. However, considering that we are currently in a pandemic, we have adopted safer ways of conducting ACOP that will not require personal appearances from SSS pensioners or their beneficiaries,” paliwanag ni Ignacio.
