Sky Shot, 3rd place na lang

Natugunan ang hinain na protesta ni horse owner Sandy Javier matapos maglabas ng desisyon ang Philippine Racing Commission tungkol sa isyung sangkot ang tatlong tigasing kabayo na sina Boss Emong, Sky Shot at Super Swerte sa naganap na 2021 PHILRACOM-PCSO Presidential Gold Cup sa Metro Turf, Malvar, Batangas noong Disyembre 12.

Martes ng hapon nang i-post ng PHILRACOM ang decision ng protesta sa facebook page nila, nanaig ang protesta ni Javier, may-ari ng kabayong Super Swerte.

Napawalang bisa ang kampeonato ni Sky Shot kaya naman lumagpak ito sa pangatlo ng nasabing prestihiyosong event ng taon.

"With respect to the disqualification case, the Board declares horse "SKY SHOT" as DISQUALIFIED pursuant to PR 56.A and PR 78.B.1 and consequently, horse "SKY SHOT" is relegated to the position behind horse "SUPER SWERTE" and the final placing of horses for the 2021 PHILRACOM-PCSO Presidential Gold Cup shall be as follows: (1st) Nuclear Bomb, (2nd) Super Swerte, (3rd) Sky Shot, (4th) War Cannon, (5th) Boss Emong, (6th) Pangalusian Island, (7th) Isla Puting Bato.

Binigyan ng 156 racing days suspension si Fernando Raquel na sumakay kay Boss Emong habang nakatanggap ng "Written Warning" si Jonathan Hernandez, rumenda kay Sky Shot dahil sa umano'y "careless riding."

"In view of all the foregoing, the Board finds the appeal of Jockey Fernando M. Raquel, Jr. without merit and hereby denies the same. Consequently, the decision of the MMTCI-BOS suspending Jockey FM Raquel for a period of one hundred fifty-six (156) days is hereby AFFIRMED," nakasaad sa inilabas ng PHILRACOM na desisyon.

Napatawan din ang tatlong MMTCI-Board of Stewards ng suspensiyon. "With respect to the MMTCI-BOS, the Board finds them Guilty of gross Negligence amounting to dereliction of duty pursuant to PR 5.G and PR 4 and they are hereby Suspended for a period of one (1) year." PHILRACOM.

Nakasaad sa protestang ipinadala ni Javier sa PHILRACOM na pinagtulungan at sinadyang harangan ni Raquel at sakay niyang Boss Emong si Super Swerte kaya naman naantala ang mainit na pagremate ng kanyang pambato.

Samantala, nais ni Javier na huwag pahintulutan ng komisyon ang paggamit ng hindi totoong pangalan ng mga horse owner, kailangan tunay na pangalan ang nababasa sa mga programa ng karera.
