Baguio City - Pinadyak ni Frenchman Antoine Huby ng 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines ang pangatlong lap win matapos angkinin ang Stage 14 habang sinikwat ni Russian rider Nikita Shulchenko ng LCW UAE Cycling team ang titulo sa katatapos na MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026, kahapon dito.


Inirehistro ni Huby ang apat na oras, 26 minuto at 42 segundo sa 181.80 kms. na nagsimula sa Lingayen at nagtapos sa loob ng Camp John Hay, Baguio City, dalawang minuto at 12 segundo ang lamang nito kay Shulchenko pero kapos pa rin para maagaw nito ang Individual General Classification.


“I’m happy to win the last stage, I’m tired to win the yellow jersey. I’m sure it was possible, but I know that I was tired to go faster. I did my best,” saad ng 25-anyos na si Huby.


Terserong tumawid sa meta si Ronnilan Quita ng 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbikes Philippines, pang-apat si Ivan Anisimov ng LCW UAE Cycling team habang pumang-lima si Junrey Navarra ng Standard Insurance Philippines.


Nakalikom si Shulchenko ng kabuuang 41 oras, 11 minuto at 10 segundo sapat para tanghaling kampeon sa 14-Stage race. Lumanding sa second place si Huby, may isang minuto at 34 segundo ang lamang sa kanya ni Shulchenko, tumapos naman ng third place si Syrian rider Ibrahiem Yousef Alrefai ng LCW UAE Cycling team.


Nasikwat naman ni Nash Joshua Lim ng MPT Drivehub cycling team, siya ang best Pinoy rider habang nasa pang lima si Quita. “Sobrang saya ko po, sinubukan ko din pong

umangat pa kahit third place pero hindi rin kinaya,” ani  Lim.


Samantala, kinalawit ng 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines ang korona sa Team General Classification sa nalikom na 162 oras, 25 minuto at 49 segundo, pangalawa ang Go fo Gold Philippines habang tersero ang LCW UAE Cycling team.
