Tiniyak ng Philippine National Police - Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) na dumaan sa tamang proseso ang pagsisilbi ng warrant of arrest na inilabas ng 3rd Division ng Sandiganbayan para kay dating Senador Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla, Jr.


Kasunod ito ng pagsuko ng dating senador sa kanilang tanggapan nitong Lunes ng gabi, Enero 19, dahil sa pag-aanunsyo ng Office of the Ombudsman sa paglabas ng warrant laban sa kanya ng Anti-Graft Court.


Ayon sa PNP, unang sumailalim sa medical procedure si Revilla na bahagi ng proseso bago siya basahan ng ‘miranda rights’ at isailalim sa booking and documentation.
