Pag-IBIG members, nakaipon ng P79.9B sa Regular Savings at MP2 noong 2022

Hello, Bulgarians! Ang mga miyembro ng Pag-IBIG Fund ay sama-samang nakaipon ng halos P80 bilyon noong 2022, na nagtakda ng isa pang record para sa pinakamataas na halagang naipon ng mga miyembro sa ahensya sa loob ng isang taon, ayon sa nangungunang opisyal nito.

Noong 2022, ang halagang sama-samang naipon ng mga miyembro ng Pag-IBIG ay umabot sa P79.9 bilyon – ang pinakamataas sa 42 taong kasaysayan ng ahensya. Ang kabuuang savings na nakolekta noong nakaraang taon ay tumaas ng 25% o P16.2 billion mula sa P63.7 billion na nakolekta noong 2021. Bahagi ng kabuuang savings ang Pag-IBIG Regular Savings ng ahensya, na tumaas din ng 6% mula sa P37. 71 bilyon noong 2021 hanggang P40.06 bilyon noong 2022.

“The sustained growth in Pag-IBIG Members’ Savings collections has been truly remarkable. It denotes our members’ trust and confidence in our programs, and our capacity to manage each hard-earned peso they have saved with us. And, as our collections remain strong, we remain able to finance and maintain the low interest rates of our loan programs. These are among our many efforts in adhering to the call of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. towards advancing the welfare of our fellow Filipinos,” saad ni Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar, na namumuno sa Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at sa 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.

Samantala, sinabi ni Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta na ang sikat na MP2 Savings ng ahensya ay patuloy na nagtutulak sa paglago ng savings ng mga miyembro nito. Napanatili ng voluntary savings program ang paglago nito noong 2022, dahil ang mga miyembro ay nakaipon ng record-high na P39.84 bilyon sa programa, isang pagtaas ng 53% o P13.89 bilyon mula sa P25.95 bilyon na nakolekta noong 2021.

“We are happy that we continue to gain the trust of our members, as shown by the record-high amounts that they have saved with us in 2022, as well as in the past years. This shows their growing appreciation of the value in saving with Pag-IBIG Fund. That is why we remain committed in responsibly and prudently managing their savings, so that we can provide them the best possible returns,” sabi ni Acosta.
