Pag-IBIG Fund, naglabas ng record-high na P65.48b home loan

Hello, Bulgarians! Muling nalampasan ng Pag-IBIG Fund ang dati nitong rekord sa gitna ng patuloy na pandemya sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalabas ng mahigit P65 bilyong home loan sa nakalipas na siyam na buwan, inihayag ng mga opisyal ng ahensiya noong Biyernes, Nobyembre 5.

Mula Enero hanggang Setyembre, naglabas ang ahensiya ng home loan na nagkakahalagang P65.48 bilyon, na siyang pinakamataas na halagang inilabas kompara sa nakaraang siyam na buwan. Kung ikukumpara sa mga nagdaang taon, ang halagang ibinayad sa taong ito ay lumago ng 80% mula sa P36.43 bilyon na inilabas sa parehong panahon noong 2020 at 11.5% na mas mataas kaysa sa P58.73 bilyon na inilabas sa parehong panahon noong 2019, na kung saan ay taon ng pinakamahusay ang Pondo.

“Even as the country continues to face the challenges posed by pandemic, Pag-IBIG Fund was able to set a new record in terms of housing loan takeouts by the end of the third quarter.

This means that more and more Filipino workers are becoming homeowners which is good news as this growth contributes to the economic recovery efforts of the government led by President Rodrigo Duterte,” saad ni Secretary Eduardo D. del Rosario, na namumuno sa Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at ng 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.

Samantala, sinabi ni Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Acmad Rizaldy P. Moti na ang halagang inilabas noong Setyembre ay tumustos sa pagkuha ng 77% pang tahanan ngayong taon - sa kabuuan ay umabot na sa 63,765 units para sa mga miyembro nito.

Idinagdag niya na mula sa P65.48 bilyon na inilabas, mahigit P6.71 bilyon ang napunta para pondohan ang 15,456 socialized housing unit para sa minimum-wage at low-income sectors at ang mga socialized housing unit na ito ay bumubuo ng higit sa 24% ng buong bilang ng mga tahanan na tinustusan mula Enero hanggang Setyembre.

“We have one more quarter left before 2021 ends and judging by our home loan releases in the previous three quarters, I am confident of achieving another banner year. So far, our average monthly home loan releases hovers around P7 billion. It even peaked at over P9 billion in June.

In the third quarter alone, our home loan releases amounted to P21.14 billion. If this trend holds, home loan releases by the end of the year will likely breach the P90 billion mark and may even reach P100 billion. This shows the grit and resilience of Pag-IBIG to serve our members no matter the circumstance,” pahayag ni Moti.
