Nestlé PH marks 110th year: Kasambuhay for Good in society, for the planet

Hello, Bulgarians! Sa pamamagitan ng simpleng online event, ang Nestlé Philippines, isa sa mga nangungunang korporasyon sa bansa at merkado sa buong mundo ay nagdiwang ng ika-110 taon sa pamamagitan ng pangako na paigtingin ang mga programa nito bilang isang Kasambuhay for Good - isang pinagkakatiwalaang kasama sa buhay - para sa lipunan at planeta habang nagpapatuloy ang COVID-19 pandemya.
“We are honored to have been welcomed into countless homes, with our products serving the nutritional requirements of Filipinos through various stages of life, and our programs aiming to make a difference for people and the environment,” pahayag ni Chairman at CEO Kais Marzouki.
Sinabi ni Arlene Tan-Bantoto, SVP and Head of Corporate Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, “We recognize that above and beyond commercial success, we strive to create shared value in ways that are good for business, for people and the planet, addressing major needs and challenges. This is integral to our business strategies so the more we grow, the better the value we give back to society. Being a Kasambuhay for good, we will sustain our initiatives as we evolve and intensify them, and further enhance their relevance in the next 110 years and beyond.”
Ang mga pagsisikap ng Nestlé ay makatulong sa milyun-milyong bata at pamilya na maging mas malusog, may maligayang buhay tulad ng Nestlé Wellness Campus, MILO Home Court, MAGGI Sarap Sustansya Kusinaskwela, at BEAR BRAND Batang Matibay Awards; mapagbuti ang kalidad ng buhay ng mga Pilipinong magsasaka ng kape sa pamamagitan ng NESCAFÉ Plan; at magsikap para sa zero impact sa kapaligiran sa pamamagitan ng plastik waste at mga hakbangin sa pagbabago ng klima.
Bilang highlight ng ika-110 taon nito, namahagi ang Nestlé ng P110 milyong halaga ng mga produkto nito sa mga pamilya sa 110 mga lungsod, munisipalidad at lalawigan sa buong Pilipinas sa tulong ng kanilang mga partner kasama ang local government unit at ang Philippine Red Cross. Tatanggap ang naninirahan sa mga pamayanan kung saan nagpapatakbo ang Nestlé, pati na rin ang mga magsasaka ng kape.
Nagpasalamat din sina Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas, Makati Mayor Mar-len Abigail Binay, Manila Mayor Francisco Domagoso, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, at San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora ng San Juan sa Nestlé sa pagbabahagi ng mga produkto nito sa kanilang mga komunidad.
Sinabi ni Senator Joel Villanueva “Napakarami ninyong natulungan, napakadami ninyong napasaya, napalusog, at higit sa lahat nabigyan ng magandang buhay. Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang inyong adhikain at kami pong lahat ay nakasuporta at saludo sa inyo.”
Pahayag ni Agriculture Secretary William Dar: “With your commitment and sincerity, you have time and again proven your worth and have gained much deserved recognition. With your services, the community has gained a lot. Despite the decline in our local coffee production over the years, we recognize your goal of reenergizing our local coffee industry through the NESCAFÉ Plan which helps future generations of local coffee growers, providing training to our young coffee farmers. May the journey of Nestlé Philippines continue for many more years.”
Binati ni Secretary Ramon Lopez ng Department of Trade and Industry ang Nestle sa ika-110 anibersaryo nito. “We at the Department of Trade and Industry value the partnership we have fostered with Nestlé Philippines. In 2020, Nestlé's participation in our RAPID program in DTI yielded positive results in helping turn Filipino farmers into agripreneurs or agri entrepreneurs by assisting them in their financing needs to grow their farms. They are committed to its business in the country that creates jobs for the Filipinos and forges meaningful partnerships with the national government. What's more, Nestlé announced last month that they are supporting the DTI's Tatak: Matatag na Negosyo (TMN) movement to help assure micro stores, to become more resilient and sustainable stores, amidst the pandemic. Let me congratulate Nestlé Philippines again for this momentous anniversary, and for being our Kasambuhay for more than 100 years. We hope to sustain and further strengthen our partnership towards serving more Filipinos, especially now that we are still facing challenges brought about by the pandemic.
