Nalaman nang magsama sa set… JANELLA, MAY IBINUKING TUNGKOL KAY PIOLO

Aminado si Janella Salvador na ayaw na sana muna niyang gumawa ng mga horror films dahil nata-typecast na siya sa ganitong genre.

Pero tinanggap niya ang Mallari na official entry sa Metro Manila Film Festival dahil unang basa pa lang daw niya sa script ay gandang-ganda na siya rito at siyempre, isa sa mga importanteng factors ay makakasama niya ang nag-iisang Piolo Pascual.

“To be honest with you, before I accepted this film, sabi ko sa sarili ko, parang gusto ko munang magpahinga sa horror,” sey ng aktres sa grand mediacon ng Mallari na ginanap last Friday.

“Kasi, medyo nata-typecast na rin ako sa mga horror. My first film was Haunted Mansion, it was horror. I did Bloody Crayons, it’s also a slasher film, Killer Bride, parang naging tuluy-tuloy ‘yung horror, hindi siya nawala and I said, gusto ko munang magpahinga,” she explained.

“But as soon as I read the script, sabi ko, ‘This is something na hindi ko siya puwedeng palampasin. It’s so well-written, it’s very detailed,” aniya.

Pero at the same time ay kinabahan nga rin daw siya dahil si Papa P ang makakatrabaho niya.

“Kinabahan ako nang slight kasi hindi ko lang makakatrabaho rito si Papa P, partner ko siya rito.

“So, kinabahan ako pero I couldn’t let it pass,” sey ng aktres.

Bakit siya kinabahan kay Piolo?

“Because he’s Piolo. He’s that. He’s accomplished so much. Pero nu'ng nasa set na kami, never niyang ipinaramdam, never kong naramdaman ‘yun na Piolo siya,” sabi ni Janella.

Papuri pa ng aktres kay Papa P, “He’s very generous. I could see him also working hard for this role. Lahat kami rito, we’re all just really trying to portray a role, na pantay-pantay kami, and yeah, he works really hard for this film.”

Showing na sa Dec. 25 ang Mallari produced by Mentorque Productions and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Ito ay mula sa direksiyon ni Derrick Cabrido.

Kasama rin sa pelikula sina Gloria Diaz, JC Santos, Ron Angeles, Tommy Alejandrino at marami pang iba.
