Linis-linisan pa raw kung magsalita… ATOM: ILANG MAMBABATAS AT OPISYAL, NAKINABANG DIN SA KORUPSIYON

Nag-viral ang tweet ni Atom Araullo laban sa “performative outrage” ng ilang pulitiko na umano’y nakinabang din sa korupsiyon, at agad itong umani ng suporta mula sa mga netizens — kasabay ng paghahanda niya sa launching ng kanyang unang libro, A View From The Ground, sa Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) 2025.

Ang tweet ni Atom, “Ang cringe ng performative outrage ng ibang mambabatas at opisyal natin. Eh, sila naman ‘yung nakinabang sa korupsiyon. Para naman kaming ipinanganak kahapon, mga Mamser (Ma’am at Sir).”

Walang tinukoy na pangalan si Atom at wala ring ibinigay na clue, pero nahulaan agad dahil napanood ang “performative performance” ng isang senador na muntik pang maiyak sa sobrang intense ng mga sinabi, to think na isa siya sa may isyu ngayon.

Nag-agree ang mga netizens na nakabasa sa tweet ni Atom, linis-linisan daw ang karamihan sa mga politicians. 

Sa reaction ng madlang people, galit na sila lalo na sa mga corrupt.

And speaking of Atom, may book launching ito ng kanyang first book na A View From The Ground na magaganap sa Manila International Book Fair 2025. Sa September 14, 2 PM sa SMX Convention Center ang book launching.

Sabi ng UP Press, “Witness stories from the ground, told by one of the most compelling voices of his generation. A View from the Ground is a collection of narrative journalism featuring stories from marginalized communities, accompanied by photographs taken by Atom himself.”

Buking sa pa-baby shower ni Sen. Grace…

LOVI, GIRL ANG IPINAGBUBUNTIS

BABY girl pala ang ipinagbubuntis ni Lovi Poe at kahit wala pang gender reveal sila ng husband niyang si Monty Blencowe, nalaman ang gender ng baby dahil sa baby shower na bigay ng sister ni Lovi na si former Senator Grace Poe.

Pink ang motif ng baby shower, pink ang balloons, may shade ng pink ang cake kaya nalaman na ang gender ng baby. 

Pero abangan pa rin natin ang formal na gender reveal ng parents sa kanilang first baby.

Malaki na ang baby bump ni Lovi, ilang months na kaya ito? Sa isang post sa Instagram (IG), nabanggit nito na buntis na siya nang rumampa sa runway sa Bench, dumalo sa ABS-CBN Ball, nag-shoot ng summer campaign at sumama sa Panagbenga parade.

Sa reels, nag-post si Lovi na malaki na ang tiyan, kumakain ng manggang hilaw at nagwo-workout. Katuwa ‘yung habang ipinapakita ng aktres ang baby bump niya, lumakad sa likod niya ang asawa na parang buntis at pinalaki ang tiyan.

Anyway, may pasilip si Lovi sa international movie na Bad Man (BM) na ginawa niya kasama ang aktor na si Johnny Simmons.

Aniya, “So, this is the project I flew all the way to Alabama for, Bad Man. One of my favorite films of all time is The Perks of Being a Wallflower and to find myself sharing the screen with Johnny Simmons in Bad Man is still something I can’t fully put into words. He’s such a generous actor. I honestly loved every moment doing our scenes together.”
