Pinagtalunan ng mga fans ang lumabas sa social media hinggil sa isyung "Regine Velasquez holds the top spot as the greatest Filipino singer of all time."

"The ranking is based on popularity, album sales (record, cassette, CD, iTunes), hit songs, awards and recognitions, longevity and impact on the music industry, influence on history, and vocal ability."

"I am a fan of Eraserheads but Eli Buendia is more of a great songwriter than a singer."

"The inimitable vocal prowess of Asia’s Songbird, Queen Regine, remains unequivocally unmatched! At her seasoned age, she continues to reign supreme as one of the most industrious and sought-after luminaries in the entertainment realm. With fervent anticipation, I look forward to witnessing her brilliance live this coming August 9, alongside the equally iconic Vice!!"

"Hahaha! Morissette Amon is the best of all, 2nd is Regine for female. For male is Arnel Pineda.”

"Lea Salonga deserves the number 1 top… No other Phil. singer is as respected and acknowledged globally than Lea."

"Was album sales considered in relation to the total population of the country during the prime of each singer? And during the era of  no-iTunes? If so, singers like Victor Wood, Eddie P., and Rico J. should have been in the list considering that the ranking is 'All- time' as you alleged. Otherwise this ranking is just a sham."

Lahat ‘yan, sakop ni Regine Velasquez, which is why she deserves to be the No. 1! Regine won as grand champion in both national and international singing competitions, as well!"

"Without question, Regine talaga ang No. 1. She is not just popular but truly talented as well, having won as grand champion of both national and international singing contests. Matindi talaga!"

"REGINE VELASQUEZ DESERVES TO BE ON TOP AND to be the NATIONAL ARTIST FOR MUSIC! "

And for me, karapat-dapat na rin siyang tanghaling National Artist!!!

ANG former PBB housemate na si Fumiya Sankai ay nanalong Artist of the Year sa Canada-based group Spotlight Couronne Internationale during the 9th Calgary International Fashion and Arts Week (CIFAW) na ginanap sa Manila.

Ang awarding ceremony ay ginanap last July 26 sa MGBX Exhibition Hall, Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts, gathering artists, designers, and creatives from both the Philippines and Canada.

Originally held in North America, CIFAW debuted in the Philippines this year as part of its global expansion.

The event brought together top Filipino and Canadian designers in a two-day fashion and arts showcase, culminating in the recognition of Sankai’s unique contribution to the arts.

Esplika niya, “I wanted the fusion of Japanese culture and Filipino culture because I’m pure Japanese pero I love the Philippines… This country changed my life in a good way. That’s why I want to be a bridge between the Philippines and Japan through my art.”

Organized by the Rotary Club Passport One and One Gallery, the event highlighted Sankai’s evolution as a creative force beyond the digital space.
