In fairness kay James Reid, ang ganda ng mga sinabi niya tungkol sa love team sa Pilipinas, na as we all know ay naging parte rin siya dahil ang JaDine tandem nila ni Nadine Lustre ang isa sa pinakasikat nu'ng panahon nila.

Ayon kay James sa panayam sa Korina Interviews ni Korina Sanchez sa NET25, ang pagkakaroon daw ng ka-love team ay isa sa mga naging pinakainstrumento para marating niya ang kinalalagyan ngayon.

“Being in a love team, I think, was the most instrumental thing to who I am today. It really made me who I am now, I discovered so much about myself, being part of a love team and all the projects that I did,” sey ni James.

Aniya pa, napakasuwerte raw niya na naging parte siya ng isang love team.

“It’s a phenomenon in the Philippines that doesn’t exist anywhere else. So, I’m so lucky to be part of a love team.”

Pero siyempre, aniya, hindi naman daw forever ang love team at darating din ang time na kailangan na ring mag-solo tulad ng nangyari sa JaDine.

“It was time for me to discover more about myself, the next phase of my life. And I felt that was music. You know, I wanted to know sino si James Reid kapag walang love team? You know I’m always part of the duo but who am I when I’m on my own?

“And I wanted to know. I was so curious, you know, I wanted to find out more. So, yeah,” he said.
