Dinepensahan ni Luis Manzano ang girlfriend na si Jessy Mendiola nang may netizen na nagtanong kung paano raw nakaka-afford bumili ng expensive na relo ang aktres.

Puna ng netizen, “How can she afford a Patek?”

Sagot ni Jessy, “Because I work hard and save and save a lot? Lol!”

Maging si Luis ay nag-react sa komento ng netizen, “Work and save till you can buy or enjoy what you want in life no matter what they may be. Napakabobo mo naman if ‘di mo gets ‘yun. Pabili ka utak ngayong 12.12 sale… work and save para ma-afford mo rin ang brain.”

Sabi naman ng isang netizen, “@luismanzano sampalin mo ng taxi ‘yan at gasoline station hehehe…”

Operator kasi ng LBR taxi at ilang sangay ng gasolinahan si Luis, kaya feeling siguro ng iba, nakabili si Jessy ng branded watch dahil sa kanyang mayamang BF.

May pagkamataray din ang netizen at buweltang sabi kay Luis, “Bakit ka mataray, nagtatanong lang naman, ah?”

Eh, knowing Luis, patola talaga sa mga bashers, pero may point naman siya na kung ano raw ang trip natin sa buhay, pagtrabahuhan natin para makuha rin natin.

May nagsasabi namang obvious lang daw na may halong judgment ang basher.

“Potek! Ako, ok na ako sa oras na nakikita ko sa cellphone. Digital.”

Pero bigyan naman daw ng credit ang actress, “Please give credit naman to her career as a celebrity. Hindi man siya A-list actress, but by her in all sorts of media does mean she still gets paid. Mga tao ngayon, napaka-judgmental.”

“Omg! Akala ko si Luis ang sumagot ng ‘Because I work hard and save a lot.’ Lol!”

May nagbiro pang “Installment. Hehehe! Pero at least, may pambayad siya.”

Napuna naman ng isang netizen na parang napikon ang TV host-actor.

“‘Yung sagot ni Luis, parang super-napikon siya. Konting tanong, napunta na sa 12.12 at brains.”

Inayunan ito ng isang netizen, “Tumpak. Parang ang dali niyang mapikon. He could have just ignored the basher. Sometimes kasi, expected naman na may mamba-bash talaga if mag-post ka ng mamahaling bagay. Hayaan na lang sana nina Luis at Jessy si basher. No need to lose your temper and stoop to the level of the basher.”

“True! Lol. Lumalabas totoong ugali ni Luis sa mga simpleng ganyan.”

“Mas pikon siya kung sinagot pa niya si basher kung bakit siya defensive, kaya nang-asar na lang siya. C'mon, the person deserves it.”

“It’s in-appropriate to question people on how could they afford to buy such things. On the other hand, Luis is such a braindead to fight back at the basher. Choose your battle and you’ll find peace.”

“Mali magtanong nang ganu’n, pero grabeng makapanlait si Luis.”

Isa naman ang nagpaliwanag kung gaano talaga kamahal ang Patek Philippe watch.

“No offense, but Patek’s are not just crazy-expensive but exclusive. The company doesn’t even need to hire an endorser due to the brand's prestige. First, if we are just going to base it on the posts, how sure are we that it's a Patek and not a Swatch? Surely, we can’t just base it by looking at the bracelet, right? Plus, it wouldn’t make sense to post a different brand of watch in between an endorsement post.

“Second, if it is a real Patek, I highly doubt that she won’t show the face of the watch, it's not just to brag, but the watch is itself is an investment to be proud of. Lastly, if it is indeed Patek, we don’t know if it's hers anyway. Social media can be deceiving nowadays even for celebrities. For all we know, she could've borrowed it from someone like Luis who I have no doubt can buy one for himself.”

Anyway, hindi naman big deal kung mamahalin ang relong suot – kung jafake man o original. Ang importante, marunong ang nagdadala.
