Inatras ng prosekusyon... Bribery vs. VP Sara, tuloy sa DOJ, Ombudsman

Posibleng iendorso ng House prosecution panel sa Department of Justice (DOJ) at Office of the Ombudsman ang mga alegasyon ng panunuhol laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

“Huwag kayong mawalan ng pag-asa dito sa bribery,” pahayag ni House lead prosecutor Rep. Gerville Luistro sa isang news forum sa Quezon City nitong Sabado.

Kasunod ito ng paghahain ng House prosecution team ng manifestation sa Senate impeachment court upang bawiin ang Article III, na tumatalakay sa alegasyon ng panunuhol, sa impeachment trial ng Bise Presidente.

“Kung kailangan, we will be making the necessary endorsement so that the Ombudsman or the DOJ can conduct the preliminary investigation for the possible filing of the case of bribery against respondent [Duterte] and officials [of] DepEd [Department of Education],” ani Luistro.

Sa ilalim ng Article III, inakusahan si Duterte ng pagbibigay umano ng pera sa mga opisyal ng DepEd upang hikayatin silang labagin o iwasan ang mga batas sa procurement at iba pang kaugnay na regulasyon.
