‘Digong without sense of humor’

Ganito inilarawan ni dating Senador Sonny Trillanes si Vice President Sara Duterte matapos niyang ihalintulad ito sa ama na si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Aniya, “We have seen Duterte part 1. Duterte 2.0 under Sara Duterte could be worse because of the temperament of Sara Duterte.”

Sinabi rin niya na, “Sara Duterte is basically Digong without the sense of humor and a shorter fuse — And I believe Sara Duterte has psychological issues and mentally unstable. You give presidential powers to such a person, that’s a formula for abuse of authority and power.

Performance rating nina PBBM at VP Sara

Tumaas ang performance rating ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. habang bumaba naman ang kay Vice President Sara Duterte batay sa non-commissioned survey ng OCTA Research.

Nasa 55% ng mga nasa hustong gulang na Pilipino ang nagpahayag ng satisfaction sa performance ng Pangulo mula sa 51% noong Q4 ng 2025, habang 50% naman ang kay VP Sara mula sa 54% nito.

Samantala, pareho namang tumaas ang trust rating ng Pangulo at Bise Presidente, na 54% ang kay PBBM at 55% kay VP Sara.

Lumiit ang gap?

Bagama't nangunguna pa rin si Vice President Sara Duterte sa 2028 presidential preferences survey, lumiliit na umano ang agwat nila ni Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, ayon kay OCTA Research founder Prof. Ranjit Rye.

"Leading pa rin si VP Sara Duterte sa preference, she has 33% of the preference for 2028... and si Leni 21%," ani Rye sa isang panayam.

Dagdag nito, malaki umano ang itinaas na bilang ni Robredo sa unang quarter ng 2026 batay sa kanilang pag-aaral na hindi umano commissioned.

"Itong aming pag-aaral sa first quarter of 2026 hindi po siya commissioned. So, naglalabas kami slowly ng aming na-oobserbahan. Malaki po 'yung itinaas ng numbers ni Mayor Leni this first quarter," anito.

Ayon pa kay Rye, preliminary lamang ang resulta at hindi ito predictive at posibleng mabago quarter by quarter.
