Kinumpirma ni Palace Press Officer Claire Castro na nagbitiw sa puwesto si Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Ted Herbosa.
Kaugnay nito, itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si Dr. Jose Brittanio "Brix" Pujalte Jr. bilang bagong Health Secretary, kapalit ni Herbosa.
Ayon kay Castro, nag-resign si Herbosa dahil sa health reasons.
Si Pujalte ay isang orthopedic surgeon at dating chief ng Philippine Orthopedic Center.
Nagtapos siya ng Doctor of Medicine sa University of Santo Tomas (UST) Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at may karanasan sa orthopedic surgery at hospital administration.
