Pinaulanan ng airstrikes ng Israel ang Gaza noong Linggo nang gabi matapos ang “incendiary balloons” mula sa Strip na naging sanhi ng sunog sa ilang bahagi ng southern Israel.
Ayon sa ulat, tinarget ng Israel ang open area sa northern Gaza at ang militant training site ng Hamas Islamists rulers sa Strip.
Saad ng Israel Defense Forces, "The decision was made following the continued launching of incendiary balloons from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, which constitutes a violation of Israeli sovereignty.”
Ang Hamas din umano ang responsable sa lahat ng aktibidad “Within the Gaza Strip and all actions originating in the Gaza Strip directed towards the state of Israel.”
Saad pa ng Defense Forces, "It will therefore bear the consequences for the violence committed against the citizens of the state of Israel."
Ang mga naturang balloons ay basic devices na ginagamit upang maging sanhi ng sunog sa mga farmland.
Samantala, wala pang naiuulat na casualties sa naturang insidente.
