Mukhang ‘negatibo’ ang dating sa ibang netizens ng pag-share ni Liza Soberano na para sumikat ang artista sa Pilipinas ay kailangang may ka-love team ito.

Ikinagulat kasi ito ng mga Korean hosts ng podcast show na Get Real na sina Ashley Choi at Peniel na uploaded ngayon sa YouTube channel ng Dive Studios na may 822,000 subscribers.

Binanggit ni Ashley kung ilang taon nagsimula sa kanyang career si Liza at ipina-clarify niya ito sa dalaga kung totoo at umoo naman ang huli.

Nabanggit ng aktres na naging modelo muna siya sa edad na 12 at saka nagsimula sa kanyang showbiz career at nakilala dahil sa love team.

Aniya, “In the Philippines, there’s this huge phenomenon called love teams. Love team is when they put two actors together and they become like BranGelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie).

They ship you and this scenario, there’s reel and real, and we're supposed to be a real couple on and off cam and we only work with each other on whole career.

“So, if you look at my previous movies and TV shows, I mainly worked with one co-actor and love team and you’re expected to be with that just one person throughout your career and your personal life. And people don’t wanna see you aside with other male actor or any other male in general."

Shocked sina Ashley at Peniel sa kuwento ng dalaga kasi nga naman, tila hindi ganito ang kalakaran ng showbiz sa Korea.

Kaya natanong si Liza kung ang ka-love team ba niya ay pinili para sa kanya.

“It’s not that they choose it for you. What happens in the beginning of your career was they kinda test you, they put you in a project together where you guys not necessarily the leads and it’s kind of a chemistry test and if becomes popular amongst the viewers, then they put you in your own movie or TV show and if that really takes off, then you’ll become a love team and you get ship really hard. And then once you’re in a love team, you guys starts project after project together,” paliwanag ni Liza.

Hirit ni Ashley, “What if you’re not dating in real life?”

“Some love teams don’t actually date in real life but you’re not allowed to say that. The thing is in the beginning of love team too, you’re not allowed to say that you are dating because you want to keep the fans kind of hungry for you guys to be dating and it helps with the project because they’re (fans) always excited.

“Whatever we do like interviews, going to the project, they’re always ask if we're dating already or officially dating or not. So, it becomes this whole thing your career, and your personal life, kind of the lines between the two gets blurred and people they just don’t know what reality is (napangiti),” esplika ng dalaga.

Natatawang sabi naman ng host na si Peniel, “Who taught of this crazy PR (press release)?”

Sabi ni Liza, “It’s been going on in the Philippines for a long time since like in the 80’s (or) 70’s and in the Philippines, the only way to become big star really if you’re not a singer is to become a love team.”
