Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 si Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma at kasalukuyan nang naka-confine sa Perpetual Succour Hospital, ayon sa Archdiocese of Cebu ngayong Biyernes.
Ayon kay Archdiocese of Cebu Spokesperson Monsignor Joseph Tan, Huwebes nang gabi nang makuha ang positive COVID-19 test result ng archbishop at naipaalam na rin sa mga nagkaroon ng close contact sa kanya ang kondisyon nito.
Pahayag ni Tan, "The Archbishop remains in a stable condition. Let us all pray for his steady and speedy recovery.
“The people who have been in close contact with the Archbishop have also been informed about the matter.”
