Canada nangakong magdo-donate ng 200 M COVID-19 vaccine sa mahihirap na bansa

Nakatakdang mag-donate ang Canada ng 200 million doses ng COVID-19 vaccine para sa mga mahihirap na bansa.


Ito ay inihayag ni Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sa isinagawang G20 summit kahapon.


“Canada will donate the equivalent of at least 200 million doses to the COVAX Facility by the end of 2022,” ani Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.


Sampung milyon dito ay Moderna vaccine na agad ide-deliver sa developing countries.


Nangako rin ang Canada na magbibigay ng $15 M para tumulong na itaas pa ang vaccine production sa South Africa.


Noong Agosto, inanunsiyo ng American company na Moderna na nais nitong magtayo ng vaccine manufacturing plant sa Canada, na siyang magiging unang planta sa labas ng Amerika.
