Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 si Caloocan 2nd District Representative Edgar Erice matapos ang walong araw niyang quarantine, batay sa ibinahagi niyang Facebook post ngayong umaga, Abril 4.
Aniya, “After 8 days in quarantine, I have tested positive of Covid. We will have to temporarily close our district office due to the numerous cases among my staff members. I have very mild symptoms so nothing to worry.”
Matatandaang nagpositibo rin sa COVID-19 ang mga mambabatas na sina House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez, Negros Oriental 1st District Jocelyn Sy-Limkaichong, Anakalusugan Representative Michael Defensor, Deputy Speaker Doy Leachon, Zamboanga City Representative Mannix Dalipe, Gabriela Women's Party Representative Arlene Brosas, 1-PACMAN party-list Representative Eric Pineda, Cavite Representative Luis "Jon-Jon" Ferrer IV, Deputy Speaker Mujiv Hataman at Surigao Del Sur Representative Johnny Pimentel.
Samantala, dalawang mambabatas naman ang iniulat na pumanaw dahil na rin sa naturang virus, kabilang sina Senior Citizens party-list Representatives Francisco Datol Jr., at Sorsogon Representative Ditas Ramos.
