Tatlong Pinay na nagbibigay ng karangalan at magandang imahe para sa bansa ang humahataw ngayon sa social media.

Ang tinutukoy namin ay ang Disney Legend na si Lea Salonga, ang tennis superstar na si Alex Eala at si Liza Soberano na namamayagpag sa movies and TV sa US.

Hindi lang ang kanilang mga talent ang bitbit nila sa pagwagayway ng bandila ng Pilipinas kundi pati ang kanilang gandang-Pinay. Nakakatuwa na mga morena ang kulay ng skin nina Lea, Alex at Liza.

Of course, knows na ng marami ang latest historic achievement ni Lea sa Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Habang si Alex naman ay patuloy na humahataw ang raketa para sa mas mataas na round sa tennis competition after manalo sa kanyang huling laban sa US Open sa New York.

Pero ang tsika namin is about Liza na nangabog sa kanyang pagrampa sa Venice, Italy.

Ka-vogue na ka-vogue ni Liza ang sinasabing mga local fashion icons na mga showbiz celebrities sa kanyang grandiyosang outfit-an at pinuntahan na events sa Italy.

Inimbita si Liza para sa DVF Awards at kilalang Venice International Film Festival (VIFF).

Sa suot pa lang na pink-sequined see-through gown ni Liza sa DVF Awards ay ikinaloka na ng fashion world. But wait, lalo pa silang nawindang sa all-white fairy princess dress ng aktres na inirampa niya sa red carpet.

Sa ikalawang sunod na taon, ia-award ang Golden Globes Impact Prize for Documentary presented by Artemis Rising Foundation and with support from Think Film Impact.

Ang recipient of this year’s prize ay pipiliin by a jury including Liza Soberano, at ia-announce ito on September 12.

Habang ang 17th annual ceremony ng DVF Awards ay ginanap noong Huwebes, September 3.

Panibagong achievement na naman ito para kay Liza. Hindi na talaga mapigilan ang pagpalaot ng pangalan niya sa international scene.

Well, ishinare niya sa kanyang Instagram (IG) ang kanyang pag-attend sa DVF Awards.

Caption ni Liza sa kanyang post: “What a beautiful night in Venice.

“The DVF Awards celebrate women whose courage, resilience, and leadership are creating real change in the lives of others. It was incredibly inspiring to be in a room with so many women using their voices and their work to make a difference.

“And so special to meet the woman behind it all, Diane von Furstenberg.”

Si Diane ang isang fashion designer and philanthropist na siyang nagbuo ng DVF Awards na nagbibigay-karangalan sa mga pambihirang kababaihan na sumusuporta para mapaunlad ang buhay ng ibang kababaihan.

Ilan sa mga prominent global figures na kinilala ng DVF Awards ay sina Jane Fonda, Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, photojournalist Lynsey Addario, Food4Education founder and CEO Wawira Njiru, at survivor, author and activist Gisèle Pelicot.

May personal affection naman si Diane sa Venice kaya rito niya piniling gawin ang awards night ng DVF, na sinadya niyang isabay sa taunang Venice Film Festival.

PERSONAL na na-witness ni Pops Fernandez ang unveiling ng star ni Lea sa Hollywood, USA. Nakaupo ang singer sa likod ni Lea at na-acknowledge naman

siya ng Disney Legend.

Parang si Pops lang ang local artist na nasa VIP area kung saan nakaupo si Lea and her special guests. Ang iba kasi ay mga half-Pinoy artists na ang nandoon gaya ni H.E.R. na kasama ni Lea sa pelikulang Forgotten Island (FI).

Sayang lang at walang super-special person na nandoon para ma-witness ang tagumpay niya.

Hindi lang ‘yung wala siyang life partner, kundi pati immediate members of her family gaya ng kanyang Mommy Ligaya, her brother Gerard Salonga at ang kanyang only son na si Nic Chien.

Anyway, agad na nakapag-post si Pops sa kanyang Instagram (IG) ng naganap na unveiling ng Walk of Fame star ni Lea. Ikinuwento niya ang kanyang naramdaman to personally witness ang pag-award ng bituin kay Lea sa Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
