Magkakaroon ng katiting na tapyas-singil sa konsumo sa kuryente ang mga power consumer ng Manila Electric Corporation (Meralco) ngayong Mayo.


Mula sa dating singil na P14.3496 per kilowatt hour  ay magiging P14.3345 kada kWh na lamang o katumbas P0.0151 ang bawas-singil sa konsumo sa kuryente.


Ang katiting na bawas sa singil sa kuryente ay dahil sa pagbaba ng singil sa transmission, ilang refunds at pansamantalang suspensyon ng Green Energy Auction Allowance (GEA-All).


Lumalabas na P3.02 ang mababawas sa bill ng customer ngayong buwan na kumukonsumo ng 200 kilowatt hour.
