3k plus na rescuers, ipinadala sa Cagayan at Isabela

Umabot sa 3,700 personnel ang ipinadala ngayong Sabado sa Cagayan at Isabela upang ma-rescue ang mga residenteng na-stranded sa kani-kanilang bahay at bubong, ayon kay National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) spokesperson Mark Timbal.


Aniya, “We have 3,776 personnel deployed and conducting SRR (search, rescue and retrieval) to support the LGUs. This morning PCG air assets had been prepared to conduct aerial inspections as well as support SRR.”


Dagdag pa nito, fake news ang kumalat sa social media kagabi na isang rescue team lang ang naka-deploy sa Cagayan.


Ito ang mga sumusunod na rescue teams na naka-deploy ngayon sa Cagayan at Isabela:


Mula sa Armed Forces of the Philippines:

Philippine Army 5th Infantry Division: 289 personnel (regional deployment)

Philippine Marines: 141 personnel (Cagayan deployment)

Philippine Air Force TOG2: 15 Wasar trained personnel (Isabela)

Philippine Coast Guard (PCG): 5 teams na binubuo ng 35 personnel na-deploy sa Tuguegarao City, Cagayan at Tumauini, Isabela


Mula sa Philippine National Police:

1,087 police officers na nakapuwesto sa lahat ng local government units (LGUs) ng rehiyon, Regional HQ

24 personnel sa Tuguegarao City

2nd PMC - 16 personnel sa Sanchez Mira

RSSF, 880 personnel


Mula sa Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP):

1,260 personnel na naka-deploy sa lahat ng LGUs ng Region 2 kasama ang 28 EMS at SRU personnel sa regional center.


Samantala, nasa 276 indibidwal sa Cagayan at Isabela na ang na-rescue ng PCG ngayong Sabado nang umaga.


Ayon kay Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba nitong Biyernes, nasa 156 barangay sa Cagayan ang baha dahil sa Bagyong Ulysses.
