‘HINDI SIYA TUMATAKAS’
Iginiit ng legal counsel ni resigned Congressman Zaldy Co na hindi ito tumatakas mula sa imbestigasyon sa anomalya sa flood control projects.
Ayon kay Atty. Ruy Rondain, nakaalis na umano ng bansa si Co dahil sa “medical reasons”, bago pa man magsimula ang imbestigasyon.
Nang tanungin din kung nasaan si Co, hindi raw nito alam, "Last I heard, he was in Boston for his medical," sagot niya.
Dagdag nito, natatakot din aniyang umuwi ang dating kongresista dahil sa mga ‘serious threats’ o banta sa kanyang buhay.
“Co would have wanted to be here himself. Unfortunately, there are credible and serious threats to his life,” ani Rondain.
