Napili ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Ma. Antonia “Toni” Yulo-Loyzaga bilang kalihim ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Ito ang inanunsiyo ni Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles ngayong Martes.
“The President has nominated Ms. Ma. Antonia ‘Toni’ Yulo-Loyzaga as Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources. Her nomination will still be subject to the fulfilment of the required documents,” ani Angeles sa isang statement.
Si Yulo-Loyzaga ay chairperson ng International Advisory Board ng Manila Observatory, kung saan kanyang ikinakampanya ang pagkakaroon ng mas siyentipikong pag-aaral kaugnay sa climate and disaster resilience.
Nagsilbi rin si Yulo-Loyzaga bilang executive director ng Manila Observatory at technical adviser ng Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation.
