We are still in pandemic and we’re just in a touch-and-go situation right now. Without the vaccine. Pretty hard to prepare them. But, I really believe that the budget and preparation is the key for all of this. “Team work is needed just like what we did in 2019. With the help of all parties like the PSC, POC (Philippine Olympic Committee), NSAs (National Sports Association), Congress and the Senate to come together and support them, hopefully we can really see a good performance in the coming SEAG,” dagdag nito sa programang suportado ng PSC, Games and Amusement Board at Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

It is really the preparation of our athletes, in terms of Olympics is concerned. Chairman (Butch) Ramirez is trying his best to negotiate with the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) and DOH (Department of Health) para mapasama ang ating mga atleta sa mga top priorities ng government,” ekslipka ni Fernandez.

“Doble o triple ang hirap ng preparation natin for the Olympics and SEA Games knowing that preparation and training is the key to success. We also need to work closer with the IATF and DOH on how to control the pandemic. Talagang vaccine is really the biggest key to a normal way of training and competing in international tournaments,” saad ni Fernandez.
