Inalala ni Kris Aquino ang kaarawan ng kanyang yumaong ina na si Presidente Cory Aquino by posting a video clip sa kanyang Instagram last Wednesday.

Pero ang saktong birthday ni President Cory ay kahapon, January 26.

Inabot ng 9:35 minutes ang itinakbo ng video na naglalaman ng old photos ni Kris with Pres. Cory and her dad na si dating Senador Ninoy Aquino. May pictures din nu’ng libing ni President Noynoy Aquino, art cards na nakaka-touch na hugot lines, family portraits, an open letter for her mom at ang disturbing photos ng mga pasa at butlig (allergies) mula mukha hanggang paa ni Kris with matching musical scoring na mga inspiring songs.

Pagkatapos batiin ng “happy birthday” ni Kris si Pres. Cory sa panimula ng kanyang letter ay sinabi na niyang ipinagdasal daw niyang maigi whether isasapubliko ang mga hirap na pinagdaanan niya habang nakikipaglaban sa kanyang four autoimmune diseases.

“I prayed about my decision on whether to show everyone what it is been like — because you never wanted anybody to know how difficult it was for you,” panimula ng letter ni Kris.

Sa sulat ay binanggit ni Kris kung gaano kahirap para sa kanyang Ate Ballsy ang magpaliwanag sa iba kung bakit hanggang ngayon daw ay nasa US pa rin si Kris at ‘di pa nauumpisahan ang treatment niya.

Paliwanag ni Kris, “I’ll take this opportunity to explain, unfortunately, I’m allergic to so many types of medicine, and I have such an adverse (meaning total opposite of than what’s expected) reaction to steroids - normally the first line of defense for autoimmune patients. I did the steroid challenge while still in Manila, May 6, the Friday before elections…. 4 doctors were present giving me baby doses until we reached 80 mg. You see everything from heaven but for the benefit of those who don’t - 2.5 hours after my hives came out from my face down to my legs, but worse than that, an after konting galaw and it was just so painful, deep bone pain worse than my bone marrow extraction when I endured the post procedure pain with no pain reliever because I’m allergic to Opioids like morphine & fentanyl.”

Bahagi pa ng letter ni Kris for her mom ang masayang pagbabalita na walang na-detect na kanser sa anumang organ ng kanyang katawan.

Sabi ni Kris, “BUT good news Mom, in my genetic screening - no organs or body areas were detected to carry any cancer gene including the colon & my blood.”

Kasunod nito ang rebelasyon ni Kris sa kanyang latest health condition.

“To clarify the 4 conditions I have are chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, Churg Strauss Syndrome or Scleroderma. Seems from all my physical manifestations I am highly likely to already have a 5th…and there’s a 50% chance of autoimmune condition number 6,” lahad ni Kris.

At sa bandang huli ng kanyang letter ay inamin niya na hindi na raw siya naghahanap ng lalaking mamahalin to complete her.

“Finally realized the TRUTH in what you’d always say to me, ‘Kristina, know your truth.’ Yes MOM I do…,” pagtatapos ni Kris.
